Ethics in ECRM Action
I designed a series of ethical newsletters for Co-op Bank, helping to promote its values of sustainability and social responsibility while improving customer engagement through accessible, purpose-driven design.

Co-op Bank wanted to strengthen its reputation as an ethical, socially responsible financial institution through its customer communications, particularly via its ECRM newsletters.
I was tasked with designing a series of visually engaging, accessible newsletters that highlighted the bank’s ethical initiatives, focusing on sustainability, community engagement, and financial well-being.
I developed responsive newsletter templates that aligned with Co-op Bank’s brand values. Each edition was crafted to clearly communicate key messages while maintaining readability and accessibility across devices. I incorporated thoughtful design choices, such as inclusive imagery, clear hierarchy, and alt text, to ensure a positive and engaging user experience. I worked closely with content teams to present meaningful stories that reflected the bank’s values and built customer trust.
The newsletters helped reinforce Co-op Bank’s ethical positioning, improving customer engagement and supporting stronger brand loyalty. The consistent delivery of purpose-led content contributed to a deeper connection between the bank and its customers and strengthened monthly output and ongoing relationships with Dentsu.
