Over a decade working on Asda’s digital campaigns at BJL, I designed hundreds of responsive, accessible email templates and supporting assets across key categories like Groceries, George Clothing, and Little Angels. My work helped drive engagement and ensure brand consistency across web, mobile, and app platforms.

As a long-standing client of BJL, Asda required consistent, high-performing digital communications across various departments, including Groceries, Little Angels Baby, and George Clothing. Their campaigns demanded creative execution at scale, across email and digital platforms.
I was responsible for designing responsive, accessible email templates and digital assets that aligned with Asda’s evolving brand identity, supported seasonal campaigns, and engaged a broad customer base across mobile and desktop platforms.
Over the span of 10 years, I designed and delivered hundreds of bespoke, responsive emails using best-in-class creative and UX practices. I employed natural template breakpoints and modular section swaps to ensure content adapted seamlessly across devices. Each email was carefully crafted to be screen-reader friendly and accessible to all users, while still achieving a visually appealing, brand-led design. In addition to email, I created a wide range of digital assets including banners, website visuals, and platform-specific images for use across apps and websites. All work was developed in close collaboration with internal teams and brand stakeholders to ensure strategic consistency and technical accuracy.
The email templates and digital assets contributed to improved engagement and brand cohesion across Asda’s digital ecosystem. The success and reliability of this creative work helped solidify Asda’s long-term relationship with BJL and positioned my role as a trusted go-to designer on the account.
